Mary Kantner, BS, Clinical Intern (She/Her)
Mary is an intern therapist with 4 years of experience in mental health, a bachelor’s degree in sociology, and has worked with folks of many ages, backgrounds, and abilities. She believes in the power of deep listening and continuous curiosity and is committed to understanding her clients’ holistic selves. Mary specializes in somatic experiencing, grief, neurodivergence, narrative therapy, and psychodynamic approaches. Through these modalities, she strives to meet clients where they are and, together with her clients, she works to create a safe environment in which therapy progresses at her client’s own pace.
Mary knows that every person has unique experiences with grief, trauma, joy, and anxiety. By focusing on existing strengths and gaining a therapeutic relationship with the client, she facilitates the growth, healing, and self-preservation of her clients. Mary is dedicated to recognizing systemic oppression, working with her clients to overcome barriers, and supporting their healing, self-awareness, and well-being.
Mary has a fee of $95 per therapeutic hour, as well as sliding scale spots for low income clients. She is also in-network with Premera, Life Wise, and most Blue Cross Blue Shield and Anthem plans. Click here to email her.
